Why Join Scully?

Membership at Scully Coop offers so much more than just meals. You'll gain access to a supportive community, convenient dining options, social events, and a network of friends that will last well beyond your Princeton years.

Our members enjoy weekend brunch and daily dinner service, plus special events like themed dinners, game nights, study breaks, and our famous formal gatherings. You'll also contribute to our cooperative community through weekly cook and chore shifts.

Membership Dues

As of Fall 2025, membership dues are $600 per semester. This covers all meals and events throughout the semester.

Member Responsibilities

Each member contributes to our cooperative community through:

Cook Shift (3 hours including cleanup): Work with fellow members to prepare delicious meals for the coop once per week.

Chore Shift (approximately 1 hour): Help maintain our space through various responsibilities including:

  • Bakers: Prepare fresh baked goods for the coop like Eric's egg tarts or Allison's blueberry muffins!
  • Kitchen Managers: Clean kitchen appliances, oil disposal, and they also take care of our in-house plants!
  • Surfaces: Clean dining surfaces and benches twice a week
  • Pantry Guardians: Organize/track/order pantry items, remove old packages, and clean spills.
  • Laundry: Wash and replace kitchen rags weekly
  • Activities Organizer: Plan weekly/semester events, work with other coop board members, and handle our social media!
  • Unloaders: Receive deliveries, label food items, organize fridge, and flatten boxes.
  • Fridge Guardians: Clean fridge, organize items, discard expired food weekly.
  • Floors:Sweep the floor then mop the floor with bleach/detergent weekly.

How to Apply

Membership selection at Scully Coop happens each semester. We welcome applications from all Princeton undergraduates who are interested in joining our community. We generally recruit around March - April for the upcoming Fall semester, and around late November for the Spring. Look out for an email from us on hoagie mail!

Application Process:

1. Contact any current member to join us for a meal as a guest and get to know our community

2. Contact any board member directly to express your interest and learn more about the application process

3. Receive your decision and celebrate joining the Scully family!
